ABOUT

ABOUT SAUNIER MOVING AND STORAGE

Established in 1909 by the late W.W. Ecton as Ecton Movers in Winchester, Saunier Moving and Storage has stood as a pillar for over a century, becoming Kentucky's oldest moving company.

In 1948, W.W. Ecton's grandson, Walter G. Ecton, took the reins of the family business. Under Walter's leadership, Ecton Movers became an agent for North American Van Lines, propelling the company to greater heights.

Ed Saunier, who had joined the family through marriage, purchased ownership from Walter Ecton in 1985, marking the fourth generation to carry forward the tradition of excellence. The following year, he purchased the Lexington North American Van Lines agency, merged Ecton Movers and changed the name. Saunier Moving & Storage expanded its footprint, opening an agency in Louisville in 2001.

Over 100 years later, Saunier Moving and Storage continues to provide moving solutions, delivering not just possessions but a legacy of exceptional service, reliability, and a commitment to making each move a seamless and stress-free experience for our valued clients.
